Dongfeng Nissan has pulled the wraps off the latest Teana at the Guangzhou Motor Show, revealing a major tech upgrade that positions the long-running sedan as one of the most connected and comfort-focused models in China’s mid-size segment. The headline update is the integration of Huawei’s new-generation cockpit system, HarmonySpace 5.0, which will come standard on all trims. Pricing ranges from 139,900 to 167,900 RMB. Sleek, Modern Exterior Design The new Teana adopts a clean, stretched silhouette that leans heavily into refinement. Nissan’s “star ring” LED signature now spans from the center grille to the headlights, giving the sedan a confident, futuristic front-end presence. The twin-projector LED headlights offer up to 230 meters of illumination, claimed to be the longest in its class and a strong boost for night-time driving safety. Buyers can choose from two exclusive paint options—Sandstone Gray and Phantom Purple—both crafted to balance premium appeal with a sporty edge. Cabin Built for Comfort and Smart Living Inside, Dongfeng Nissan has focused heavily on tactile quality and ambiance. Soft-touch materials cover roughly 90% of the interior surfaces, while a customizable 256-color ambient lighting system adds a lounge-like atmosphere. A large central touchscreen paired with full-cabin voice control brings a “smart home on wheels” feel. The ergonomically designed seats go a step further, offering spinal support, ventilation, memory settings, massage functions, and even a fully adjustable footrest for enhanced rear-seat comfort. VC-Turbo Power and Level 2 Driver Assistance Under the hood, the Teana is powered by Nissan’s well-known 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine, capable of producing 243 PS and 371 Nm of torque. The variable-compression technology allows the engine to balance performance and efficiency seamlessly across different driving conditions. The model also features Level 2 driver-assistance, giving it a competitive suite of active safety technologies within its segment. HarmonySpace 5.0: A Smartphone-Like Experience Perhaps the biggest talking point is the cabin technology. The Teana becomes the world’s first internal-combustion vehicle to offer HarmonySpace 5.0 as standard equipment. The system runs on a 15.6-inch Huawei intelligent display, the largest in the class, and operates with smartphone-like responsiveness. It supports high-precision AI voice control and OTA software updates, ensuring the in-car tech stays current over time. Huawei Sound System Elevates In-Car Audio Complementing the advanced cockpit is a premium audio setup co-developed with HUAWEI SOUND. Lower trims receive a 15-speaker system, while top grades upgrade to 17 speakers. Combined with double-layer soundproof glass on all doors, the Teana aims to deliver a serene, theater-like listening experience even at highway speeds.
