MasterDrive is gearing up for the return of its highly anticipated Women with Drive event at this year’s Festival of Motoring. Now in its third edition, the event has been rebranded as Women with Drive – ALIVE!, reflecting the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of the motoring industry and the boundless opportunities it holds for women. Eugene Herbert, CEO of MasterDrive, expressed pride in hosting Women with Drive for the eighth consecutive year. "This event has firmly secured its place on our road safety event calendar. Our initiatives to promote road safety have gained significant traction and impact since its inception." Women with Drive – ALIVE! will highlight influential women leading their organizations, promoting diversity, and uplifting others. "This year, we will focus on women who are at the forefront of their organizations, driving change, and navigating through various challenges to foster growth and development," Herbert added. A popular feature of the event, the panel discussion, will return with the theme ‘The Ecosystem of Sustainable Mobility: Connecting, Collaborating, and Conquering.’ This discussion will explore future challenges and opportunities, sustainability, and empowerment within the mobility sector. In addition to the panel, the lifestyle presentation will address vital aspects for women’s success in the industry. "Mental wellness for women in high-pressure roles, stress management, achieving work-life balance, and building resilience will be key topics," Herbert said. Supporting community initiatives remains a cornerstone of Women with Drive. This year’s event will spotlight an organization dedicated to assisting vulnerable women, aligning with the event’s mission to give back to the community and foster awareness. Held at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit's pit area, Women with Drive – ALIVE! adds a unique thrill and prestige to the event, which aims to elevate women in what is often a male-dominated industry. "The location adds excitement and a sense of distinction to an event that prioritizes women’s contributions to the motoring world," Herbert noted. Set for 29 August 2024, Women with Drive – ALIVE! promises to be an exceptional event with speakers and panelists sharing invaluable insights. "Stay tuned for an exclusive invite," Herbert concluded.
